Saturday Snapshot is hosted by West Metro Mommy Reads.
My husband and I spent last weekend camping at Susquehanna State Park in Maryland. Though it felt like we passed through all 4 seasons in one weekend, we enjoyed the park's varied terrain and beautiful hikes. Here's a brief peek at the highlights:
Us on Friday afternoon - 75 and sunny! |
Susquehanna River |
Twin Sycamore trees along the bank of the river |
After the rain Saturday - Deer Creek |
TWO bald eagles together near the creek! |
Closest I have EVER been to bald eagles - amazing! |
Storm coming in! |
Hope you are enjoying your weekend! It is currently SNOWING big, fluffy flakes here, so it's a bit surreal. What happened to spring?
Your photos are more like what we're having than some other bloggers with colourful blooms. Glad you've the chance to experience the seasons in such a short time. Amazing pic of the Bald Eagle!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love the "changing seasons" in the photos. Thanks for sharing. Here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of a lovely area. It's a thrill to see an eagle in the wild, isn't it? You got some great photos of that magnificent bird, as well as the whole area. I'd love to go there.
ReplyDeleteMy Saturday Snapshot post features my hike on May Valley Trail.
I am so ready to go camping! It's been a bit chilly for that here, although today it is 70 and sunny, so camping weather is just around the corner.
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely photos! Beautiful creek and so peaceful :)
