Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Melinda at West Metro Mommy Reads.
My husband and I set aside all the undone work at home last weekend and got out for a nice hike on Labor Day. We went to a local park that was just refurbished a bit (the Possum Hill area of White Clay Creek State Park in Delaware) to check out the changes and enjoyed our hike through the woods on a gorgeous day!

What a beautiful place to hike. Looks like you had a gorgeous sunny day to be out and about. Those chores back home will wait!
ReplyDeleteMy Saturday Snapshot post features obstacles.
Thanks, Sandra - it was a perfect day and the park was lovely. I agree - sometimes you have to forget about the to-do list and GET OUT!
DeleteMe, too, Vicki - nature is so calming & restoring!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what the park looked like before but it looks lovely now.
ReplyDeleteLooks like they just put it in a new parking lot, paved the first bit of the trail and maybe did a bit of trail improvement. We hadn't walked here in well over a decade!
DeleteWhat a great way to spend Labor Day! I love to walk and fortunately my husband does too. We imagine we will walk more in the future when we retire.
ReplyDeleteDon't wait! Get out there and enjoy yourselves now :) We enjoy it, too.
DeleteI love the trees...especially the canopy of branches. Thanks for sharing, and for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I liked that one, too - it's so pretty under the trees.
DeleteLooks like a lovely place to hike.
