Snapshot Saturday is hosted by
West Metro Mommy Reads.
I love watching the changing seasons.
Here in the mid-Atlantic region, the weather has been perfect (in my view!) - highs in the 70's and lows in the 50's. The calendar and the cooler temps say that it is now fall, though our neighborhood still looks quite summery. Here are some photos I took this week with early signs of fall right next to late evidence of summer:
|
Beautiful fall color sandwiched between lots of green. |
|
A dogwood turned reddish-purple alongside a flowering tree still in bloom. |
|
The little trees in the front of the neighborhood are colorful. |
|
One neighbor has these lovely rose bushes still in full bloom. |
|
And this tree has almost no leaves left already! |
Hope you are having a fabulous weekend and enjoying the lovely weather!
Love autumn colors...and the ones that are "sandwiched" between the greenery are lovely reminders of the transitions of the seasons.

My Saturday Snapshot
Love the in between times, still warm enough that you don't need to shovel, but cool enough that you can enjoy. Great shots.
ReplyDeleteLovely! I adore Fall the best

ReplyDeleteLovely fall pictures!
ReplyDeleteI'm noticing more and more signs of fall to.
ReplyDeleteChanges of seasons are, to me, both sad and exciting. I do miss the autumn colors, as there are not a lot of deciduous trees here in New Zealand. I miss the dogwoods a lot, so thanks for posting a shot of one for me!
