At Home with Books hosts Saturday Snapshot.
We are seeing a last burst of fall color here, as the late bloomers light up the neighborhood with bright yellows, reds, and oranges. This is my favorite tree in the neighborhood, a giant maple that is one of the last ones to change color in the fall:
I smile everytime I drive by this tree. I will be sorry to see the last of the fall colors disappear in a few weeks.
Hope you are enjoying the weekend.
The trees are changing here too. I love the colors of fall but not the cooler weather.
ReplyDeleteGlorious- that's all I can say!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! It's always interesting how trees follow their own schedule for changing, and I love watching the ones that are early or late every year.
ReplyDeletealways luving the beauty of the colour changes.. this is fabulous!
ReplyDeletegreat share [just wish it was our reality rather than reminder!]
I had a similar thought this morning, except it was for the magnificent jacaranda tree at the end of street in full spring bloom right now!
ReplyDeleteYour maple tree is magnificent too :-)
It's so pretty! Almost all of ours here have shifted into browns. No more bright reds and yellows.
ReplyDeleteI love that tree. The leaves generally seemed to be much redder than usual, and they didn't seem to be there for long, which is a shame, because they are so beautiful. My Snapshot is at http://goo.gl/qkrST
