Saturday Snapshot 6/11: It's Summer!

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by West Metro Mommy Reads.

Wet & cool has given way to hot and humid (though we still had some cool-ish days this week), and spring blooms and h=turned into lush summer greenery. A few photos from a hike at our local nature center this week (plus one from our yard & one from my son's graduation!):

Our irises bloomed last week: gorgeous but brief

Me, enjoying a hike!

My son's high school graduation last Saturday!

Hope you are enjoying a great weekend!

    1. This lovely nature center is just a few miles away from our house - it is sooo nice to get out - even for just a half hour. Nature is just so restorative for me :)

  6. The weather certainly is changeable this time of year. Less than a week ago, we were at 100 degrees...now we're lucky if we hit 65. Sigh!

  7. Your irises are lovely, it's a shame their beauty is so fleeting. I always enjoy your walk photos.

  8. The irises are beautiful. So blue! I think of irises as spring flowers, though. Have a lovely week.

    1. (this photo was from a couple of weeks ago) They normally bloom about mid-May here, Anne - they were a couple of weeks late this year because it's been SO wet & cool!
