Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Melinda at West Metro Mommy Reads.
Hope everyone is enjoying a relaxing holiday season with friends and family! Last week, I posted some of our holiday prep photos - today, the main event itself. Here are a few pics of how we celebrated Christmas and beyond this week:
Our son (in the kimono!) had to work Xmas Eve, so we ate at the restaurant where he works. |
Christmas morning - never too old for stockings! |
Christmas morning - the "before" picture! |
Family visited for Christmas dinner |
The results of our annual Cookie/Grinch Party with old friends! |
The "kids" with the cookies - all grown up now! |
....the same kids (plus a few extra) back in 2000 at the cookie party! |
Snow this morning - very pretty, but it's been in the teens and 20's (F) all week! |
Happy New Year!
It's nice to have family around you at Christmas.Did all those biscuits get eaten?!
ReplyDeleteMy sons are still working their way through the cookies, Christine!
DeleteHappy New Year to you, too, Jackie!
ReplyDeleteWhat Merry Christmas pictures! Did you have snow on Christmas? We actually did get a bit of snow on Christmas Eve--pretty much just a dusting...and then it all froze! Luckily, we had no plans to go anywhere that evening and it warmed up and melted the next day.
ReplyDeleteNo snow here in Christmas but we got some later in the week - just a dusting. The big problem is it's been in the teens and 20's for over a week now!! Too cold to even comfortably take a walk.
DeleteGlad you enjoyed a cozy Christmas!
Looks like you had a lovely holiday with family. A bit of snow makes it seem all the more Christmas-y, too.
ReplyDeleteNo white Christmas, but that pic was our 4th snowfall in December - unheard of here!!
DeleteLovely family photos and memories.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Anne!
