Saturday Snapshot is hosted by West Metro Mommy Reads.
Ugh - we had another mostly dark, dreary, and wet week here in Delaware. Enough already - I need my sunshine! We did catch a few brief glimpses of sunshine this week, and I tried to take advantage of those and get outside when I could. Last Sunday, my husband and I took a short walk at our local nature center to enjoy a gorgeous day and the winter landscape:

Hope you are enjoying the weekend!
This looks like a lovely place for a walk. After my recent "urban hike," I'm looking forward to getting back out into the woods soon.
ReplyDeleteYes, nothing like being surrounded by nature - I could use some of that now - big Nor'Easter headed our way - we've had dark & rainy for days again :(
DeleteI can really identify with that "I need my sunshine" -- I'm definitely ready for this winter to be over. But your walking area has some lovely scenery.
ReplyDeleteI can handle the cold, just give me my sun!
DeleteYes, we love this nature center - it is just a few miles down the road.
I am very inspired by all of you bloggers who walk regularly, and I need to do it, too. Although my city streets are not very inviting.
ReplyDeleteI could walk to the shopping mall, though. Hmm.
Here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
No parks nearby, Laurel? One of my goals is to get outside every day, even if it is just 10 min on my deck - rejuvenates me!
DeleteThat second last picture is definitely my favourite. I'm ready for spring/summer too, but I think I enjoy the concept of it more than the actual heat!
ReplyDeleteMe, too! I love when the trees are reflected in the water :)
DeleteIt's so funny, we're the exact opposite here in southern California! I am so excited that we've got rain this year.
ReplyDeleteWe've had nothing BUT rain and dark, gloomy days, Helen! I need some sunshine. Nor'Easter headed this way tonight - 2 more days of dark rainy days!
