Saturday Snapshot is hosted by West Metro Mommy Reads.
My husband and I took a walk this morning at our local nature center, expecting to enjoy the last of the fall color...but the trees there were mostly bare already! Funny because our neighborhood, just 2 miles away, still has plenty of color. Anyway, it was still a lovely day for a walk, and the nature center has plenty of natural beauty, even without many leaves:
No leaves left but a brilliant blue sky! |
Calm day - stream was like glass. |
Our favorite giant sycamore tree. |
These 2 baby oak trees were the only ones left with color! |
Covered bridge, stream walking bridge - we love this place! |
Hope you are enjoying this last bit of fall this weekend!
This looks like a lovely place to take a walk, especially on a crisp sunshiny day! I especially love the photo of the tranquil stream with trees reflected in its surface.
ReplyDeleteHere are my Saturday Snapshots.
I always think bare branches look really wonderful pictured against blue sky or water. My Snapshot is at http://chriscross53.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/recreating-medieval-abbey.html
ReplyDeleteThe covered bridge is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteFunny how different the trees can be, even so close. Glad you took us walking with you.
