Saturday Snapshot 5/23

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by West Metro Mommy Reads.

Another very hectic week but made time for some walks around my neighborhood. Almost everything is green now - no more flowering trees, but some of the flowers in our own yard are blooming. Here are some highights:

Not sure what these are but I love the bright pops of color!

A close-up of the bright pink flowers

Our own irises - they don't last long!

My new azaleas are blooming!

Welcoming summer with nail color Not a Cloud on the Sky!

Enjoy the holiday weekend...and celebrate the unofficial start of summer by signing up for my Big Book Summer Challenge!

  1. Beautiful springtime photos! Nice nail polish too. Those bright pink flowers look like the rhododendrons that have just finished blooming in my neighborhood.
My Saturday Snapshot post is HERE.

    1. You're right, Sandra! I took another walk today and saw that they are rhodedendrons. I didn't recignize them at first because I've never seen any so FULL of blooms before! Ours are partly behind some evergreen bushes so they only bloom on the top now. Anyway, they are gorgeous!

  9. I love rhodies! They are everyone in Oregon, except in our yard! I've been trying to convince my husband that we needed at least one rhododendron bush, but I have yet to get him to make the purchase....
