Saturday Snapshot 11/1

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by West Metro Mommy Reads.

Halloween is over now, but here are a few photos of our Halloween fun (sadly, our sons have outgrown trick-or-treating):

My sons, me, and my father-in-law at the pumpkin farm

Gorgeous fall day for a drive to the pumpkin farm

Our finished jack-o-lanterns

Our front door: ready for trick-or-treaters!

Hope you had a fun Halloween!

  1. I love your pumpkins...and the thought of a pumpkin farm. My kids are all grown...and even my grandkids think they are too old for such things...LOL.

  2. Fab pumpkin lanterns. We didn't get a pumpkin this year, I think we forgot.

  3. Even though your sons are too old for trick-or-treating, it looks like they had fun carving pumpkins. Their creations all turned out great and look delightful at your front door.

  4. Your door is spooky indeed! Did you have lots of visitors. We only had 23. It was very windy here and a lot colder than earlier in the week.

  5. It is a duck!
I wasn't sure in the first pic of the jacko lanterns, but the second one clearly shows a duck!
I assumethere is a story or reason behind that?

    1. Yes, Brona, it's a duck! Not much of a story...my son had no idea what to carve this year and spotted our wooden key holder in the shape of a duck (my husband;s sister made it many years ago)...so he traced it onto his pumpkin and cut it out!
